A foundation is a legal categorization of nonprofit organizations. Foundations may also and often have charitable purposes. (wikipedia.com)Yesterday I met my friend who offered me to join him build a foundation (charity). Actually it's not a big foundation but i'm interest about the vision and mission. We will donate funds, clothes, f & b, and so on. It's interesting but also challenging.. We have to be consistent when we involve with this kind of thing.
We might find there are lots of foundation around us who have a vision to help people in need. We don't have to be someone who sit in the organization, but at least we can join their program to help someone else. Ofcourse we have to observe about the foundation we'd like to join.
We receive bless and mercy from God, so why don't we share to other people ?
it's up to you guys.... Remember not only about money but you can give your time, energy, pray, etc.
I only now about 1 foundation because my dad currently join their activities.. Yayasan Obor Berkat Indonesia (OBI). You can browse them by search engine.
In my opinion, OBI have a great programmes and they consistent to implement their programmes continually.
